Grupo Antolin held the grand opening of its first Dual Trade School in Spain in Burgos – a company investment of 2.5 million Euros. It is the first polymer training center in Castilla y León with the goal of becoming a reference in technology training of Grupo Antolin, and a hub for the innovation of the future, contributing to the creation of qualified jobs.
Grupo Antolin understands that Training and Innovation have a primary role in the manufacturing sector of car interiors, and therefore, they have made a strong commitment with the Center, which will hold 50 students in 1,300 square meters.
This initiative can be framed within the Human Resources and Innovation Policy of Grupo Antolin, with a strong commitment to talent, and including several initiatives and programs related to professional development and innovation.
The Chairman of the Company, Ernesto Antolin, the Vice Chair, María Helena Antolin, and the CEO, Jesús Pascual, attended the event, as well as the President of Junta de Castilla y León, Juan Vicente Herrera, the Employment Minister, Carlos Javier Fernández Carriedo, and the Mayor of Burgos, Francisco Javier Lacalle, among other authorities.

Training and Innovation, pillars of the present and future for Grupo Antolin
The Dual Trade School has state of the art technology, as well as the necessary means and resources for testing focused on new technologies, for the study of the existing ones and the improvement of those used by the Group currently.
With a strategic location, attached to Grupo Antolin Aragusa – first facility for plastic injection technology-, this center will complement dual trade with languages or robotics, in order to meet the demands of an increasingly competitive sector. In addition, it has an idealization room that attempts to combine innovation and training, integrating different technologies in order to develop products with higher added value.
All the Dual Trade School programs of Grupo Antolin offer a contract that allows to alternate working for the company with specialized training. The purpose is to train highly qualified professionals that are prepared to work and being internationally recognized in the automotive sector.
Global training perspective
Globalization will determine the labor market of the future. Grupo Antolin, present in 26 counties, after the grand opening, will count on two Dual trade Schools in Europe: one in Spain and one in Germany.
