New Campaign Positions Brand as the Ultimate Travel Companion Inspirational Art to Appear on Hyundai Motor Company Social Media Channels

Buses and trams carrying optical illusions of Hyundai logos forming the famous Manhattan skyline are coming to the busy streets of New York from July 2015 – January 2016. The creative mosaic artwork will be visible alongside Hyundai’s message: Take a step back. There is more of New York to be seen.

“Millions of consumers travel around New York City every day, and we can create lasting memories through the power of artwork and creativity,” said Jacquelyn Kim, director, customer communications and promotions, Hyundai Motor America. “As our global vision is to be a lifetime partner in automobiles and beyond, the heart of this campaign is to show our customers that we are connecting with them through sharing memories.”

The mobile artwork campaign will also appear in Barcelona, Istanbul, Mexico City, Paris and Singapore. New York City, along with Istanbul and Mexico City, will have its unique skyline formed with thousands of Hyundai logos when viewed from a distance.

Travelers are encouraged to share selfies and personal experiences involving the buses and trams that showcase Hyundai’s artwork via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #HyundaiTravelmate. All of the images shared via this hashtag will have the chance to be featured on Hyundai Motor Company’s official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels, revealing the world’s top travel stories and experiences.
