Hyundai makes new N Line trim available for i30 Fastback

After successfully launching the new N Line earlier this year, Hyundai Motor is introducing the second model with the sporty trim level: the i30 Fastback N Line

After successfully launching the new N Line earlier this year, Hyundai Motor is introducing the second model with the sporty trim level: the i30 Fastback N Line. The trim enhances Hyundai’s i30 models with dynamic design features and tuned driving characteristics. The N Line trim features exterior and interior design elements carried over from N, Hyundai’s high-performance range, crowned by refined chassis and suspension settings to achieve a more sporty driving feeling for the 1.4-litre T-GDI engine.

“Our second Hyundai model available with the new trim, the i30 Fastback N Line, enables even more customers to experience the N feeling,” says Andreas-Christoph Hofmann, Vice President Marketing and Product at Hyundai Motor Europe HQ. “The i30 Fastback N Line combines the elegance of our five-door coupe and a distinguished selection of dynamic N Line features. Our N Line trim is made for customers who want to spice up their i30.”

The upgraded exterior design of the i30 Fastback N Line derives from the All-New i30 Fastback N, recently presented at the Paris Motor Show. It includes a front bumper exclusively accented with a silver character line and Hyundai’s signature Cascading Grille with mesh pattern. Black bezels frame the head lamps. To emphasise the car’s sporty appearance at the rear, the N Line trim features the sporty rear bumper carried over from the i30 Fastback N with a red reflector line, a triangular fog lamp and a special rear diffuser. The N Line badge is positioned on the front fenders. In the interior, customers benefit from N-branded sport seats and a sport steering wheel. Metal pedals and the N gear shift knob are also part of the N Line enhancements.

For a more engaging driving experience, the i30 Fastback N Line with the 1.4-litre T-GDI petrol engine with 140 PS has been refined in terms of suspension, engine response and exhaust sound. To match the tuned driving performance, the 1.4-litre T-GDI engine version comes with PS4 Michelin Performance tyres, 18-inch alloy wheels and enlarged brake discs.

With the launch of the new model Hyundai has also expanded the engine line-up for the entire N Line range with the 1.0 T-GDI petrol engine, delivering 120 PS. The smaller engine version comes with 17-inch alloy wheels and the same design refinements as the higher-powered versions.

The i30 Fastback N Line will be available across Europe at the end of 2018.
