Jon Demerly, Product Owner, AVP & UHAD, Zenuity has been confirmed as a speaker at Autonomous Car Detroit.
Demerly is currently the Product Area Owner and Technical Lead for urban autonomous driving at Zenuity, a joint venture between Volvo Cars and Autoliv. Jon received both of his engineering degrees from MIT where he focused on control systems and vehicle dynamics. He spent the first 18 years of his career at General Motors and Delphi, where he worked mostly in advanced engineering for brake and steering systems as well as chassis integration and vehicle performance. Jon spent the past six and a half years working at Autoliv on active safety, and the last three years in autonomous driving before that work was moved over to Zenuity in April 2017. Jon has also spent the past 15 years as a driving instructor in performance driving.
