The KLD direct drive motor is a product of breakthrough material science applications and engineering innovation pushing materials beyond current performance limitations. The direct drive motor is designed specifically to achieve high frequency and high torque operation at low rpm and low voltage. It completely eliminates the need for a transmission and increases system efficiency, making oneDRIVE maintenance free, scalable and able to meet an array of market needs. The oneDRIVE system performs in extreme conditions including torrential rainfall, dust and sand storms.
KLD’s proprietary Motor Controller software manages high frequencies and provides optimal regeneration and high energy recovery rates. The controller is adaptable based on customer needs and allows for the ability to upgrade and meet an array of market sector needs.
