Luca Pascotto, Mobility Director – FIA Region I, Federation Internationale De L’automobile, has been confirmed a a speaker in the Pedestrian Safety session at Automotive Megatrends Europe ’13, which takes place on 13 November 2013.
Luca Pascotto joined FIA Brussels at the end of 2011 as Director Mobility, after 10 years in the Italian Automobile Association coordinating projects and studies on transport and road safety.
At the FIA he is involved in transport policy issues, road safety and ITS, coordinating group of experts from the European Automobile Clubs. He also supports FIA Region I clubs in the FIA Action for Road Safety campaign, launched in support of the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020, and he is involved in FIA awareness activities for the deployment of ITS solutions to end-users for a safe and clean mobility.
Within the iMobility Forum, a platform for all ITS stakeholders in Europe to develop, implement and monitor work programs linked deployment of ITS is co-chairing the working group on clean and efficient ability and the working group on legal issues.
Organised by Automotive World, Automotive World Megatrends Europe ’13 is a three-stream, four-session conference. Luca Pascotto will be speaking in Session 2: Pedestrian Safety of the Safety stream.
