Nilan Mehta, Managing Director & CEO, Mahindra Truck & Bus, has been confirmed as a speaker at HD Truck Pune.
Mr. Mehta has been in the automotive industry for over 25 years. He was involved in the launch of the Mitsubishi Lancer with Hindustan Motors, a launch which was hailed for many innovative firsts in the Indian automotive market. Since joining Mahindra & Mahindra in 2000 where he started off in marketing, he then moved on to Mahindra’s Renault business where he eventually became CEO. In 2010, he moved across from the cars division of Mahindra to their truck division where he was Chief Operating Officer for Mahindra Navistar. He is currently Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer, Mahindra’s Truck & Bus. He has introduced the Mahindra Transport Excellence Awards program in partnership with Union Ministry and special programs for transport industry in partnership with IIM Ahmadabad.
