Nemak, S.A.B. de C.V. (“Nemak”), a leading provider of innovative lightweighting solutions for the global automotive industry, today announced that it has been named a winner of the GM Supplier of the Year Award for its outstanding performance as a supplier of cylinder heads and engine blocks in 2017.

As a 14-time winner, Nemak is one of the ten most recognized suppliers over this award’s 26-year history, out of GM’s more than 20,000 suppliers worldwide. Additionally, Nemak was the only Mexico-based supplier among this year’s recipients.
The GM Supplier of the Year Award honors performance in product purchasing, indirect purchasing, logistics, customer service, and aftersales. The winners are selected by a global team of GM purchasing, engineering, quality, and logistics executives.
