The new Freightliner Cascadia will be among the highlights of the Freightliner Trucks booth (#1300) at the 2017 TMC Annual Meeting, Feb. 27 – March 2, 2017, in Nashville, Tennessee.
With a sleek aerodynamic design and the updated Integrated Detroit Powertrain, the new Cascadia is the most advanced truck ever designed by Freightliner. The model features numerous improvements to benefit performance and enhance the overall driver experience. The booth will also have a cutaway cab that showcases the truck’s spacious Driver Loft configuration.

In addition to the trucks, the Freightliner booth will also feature the Integrated Detroit Powertrain, which includes the following components:
- A downsped-rated GHG17 Detroit DD15, which is optimally matched to the new Cascadia
- Updated DT12™ to improve fuel efficiency with the latest generation of intelligent powertrain management (IPM4)
- New Detroit drive axles, which have been improved to reduced parasitic loss and a new Axle Lubrication Management system
The Freightliner booth will also feature subject matter experts available to answer questions about the Detroit Connect suite of connected vehicle services. Visitors to the Freightliner booth can experience a live demonstration of the new Detroit Connect portal and can learn the latest about upcoming new connectivity features including Detroit Connect Remote Updates over-the –air programming capabilities and Detroit Connect Analytics fuel efficiency and safety insights.
