Nissan is displaying its premium lineup of models, including the new Terra, at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2018.
Showcasing its strong heritage and exciting future technologies, the Nissan display aligns with its vision to provide safe, smart and sustainable mobility to more people in more markets.
“Nissan is a brand with ingenious technologies that transform the way we drive our cars and connect with our ecosystem,” said Eiichi Koito, president of Nissan Motor Indonesia. “These elements are embedded in cars under Nissan Intelligent Mobility, and we want to use this special moment at GIIAS to introduce our intelligent SUV – the new Nissan Terra – to Indonesian customers.”
As the new Nissan Terra takes the center stage, Nissan showcases a special SUV heritage corner to show Nissan’s 60 years of expertise building SUVs. Visitors can see two of the most iconic SUVs, the Nissan Patrol from which the new Terra’s DNA is derived, and the Nissan Terrano, the SUV that has had a strong presence in Indonesia and was sold in the market from 1993 – 2006.
“The new Nissan Terra is built in and for South East Asia,” said Yutaka Sanada, Nissan’s regional senior vice president for the Asia and Oceania region. “It demonstrates our commitment to making innovation accessible to more customers in the region.”
Additionally, Datsun is putting on a dazzling show at GIIAS 2018, displaying its completely refreshed lineup of cars for Indonesia.
The highlight of the show is the Datsun GO-live special version, which premiered at GIIAS 2018 after having wowed audiences as a concept car at GIIAS 2017. The Datsun GO-live demonstrates the brand’s continuing commitment to expand and enhance its product offerings for Indonesian consumers. It uses the Datsun GO top grade as a base and adds a host of attractive new features and design modifications to give it a distinct and bold new personality.
