Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced senior management appointments, effective December 1, 2019.
Appointments approved at a special meeting of the Nissan board of directors today relate to titles and areas of responsibility at the representative executive officer and executive officer levels.
In addition, Nissan has announced changes at the corporate officer level.
Representative executive officer/executive officer titles and areas of responsibility
There will be no changes to the titles or responsibilities of Hideyuki Sakamoto, Asako Hoshino and Kunio Nakaguro.
In addition to the appointments outlined above:
- Yasuhiro Yamauchi will resign from his role as representative executive officer, acting president, CEO and COO. He will remain a director of the company.
- Executive Officer and CFO Hiroshi Karube will leave the company.
- Executive Officer and EVP Hitoshi Kawaguchi will leave the company.
- Executive Officer and CPLO Philippe Klein will leave the company.
