Nissan joins hands with Phatra Leasing to support zero-emission driving by delivering Nissan LEAF for leasing

Mr. Isao Sekiguchi (second from the right), president of Nissan in Thailand joins hands with Phatra Leasing Public Company Limited to support the zero-emission mobility with electric vehicles by delivering the first batch of Nissan LEAF to Phatra Leasing Public Company Limited. The collaboration aims to promote green innovation that reduces pollution by using vehicles that are eco-friendly with alternative energy under the concept “Alternative Energy for our Earth”. The handover was held at Nissan Electrification Experience Center, Nissan manufacturing plant, Bangna KM.21, Samut Prakarn, Thailand.

The Nissan LEAF is also chosen as a globally recognized high performance zero-emission electric vehicle, sold in 59 countries around the world and by 2021 sold more than 500,000 units worldwide*. with an electric drive system with a capacity of 40 kWh (kWh), the maximum engine power of 110 kW (kW) and a maximum torque of 320 Nm, providing better acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h within just 7.9 seconds. When fully charged to 100%, it can drive a distance of up to 311 kilometers according to the NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) standard.

In addition, the Nissan LEAF also supports quick charging, which is a direct current charging, DC Charging through a charging station at public EV charging stations, by which direct current electricity is supplied directly to the EV battery. It takes 40 minutes to charge (from 0 to 80% of capacity) (depending on battery capacity, kilowatt-hour)

The two-way charging capability of the LEAF is beyond mobility. It has been the standard that comes with the car since its introduction in 2010. Not only it can feed energy back to the grid via V2G-Vehicle-to-Grid technology or directly to electrical appliances through V-to-everything (V2X-Vehicle-to-everything) system.
