Paragon is pleased to announce that it has won two major contracts with Fiat Group Automobiles UK; the renewal of its contract to manage its import centre operations for all Fiat Group vehicles arriving into the UK, and a new contract for the delivery of its direct fleet vehicles. The two contracts will be run from the Paragon Vehicle Services (PVS) site at Portbury in Bristol.
PVS and Fiat Group have worked together for more than 20 years and the retention of the contract demonstrates the strong working relationship established between the two companies. Around two ships a week deliver Fiat Group vehicles into the UK, and Paragon works closely with Grimaldi Lines and The Bristol Port Company in transferring the cars into Paragon’s custody once they arrive on land. Following this, a joint inspection is conducted and the vehicles are entered into the Paragon Vehicle Services system which involves storage, handling and preparation of the vehicles.
Under the new direct fleet vehicle delivery contract, Paragon will increase its service offering to the Fiat Group. The contract involves the delivery of direct fleet vehicles by PVS direct to Fiat’s fleet customers across the UK.
