International representatives to staff PPG booth at Phoenix Convention Center
PPG Industries’ (NYSE:PPG) industrial coatings business will highlight its global line of fastener coatings and international support capabilities for the automotive, construction and general metal-fabrication industries at the 2015 Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association (STAFDA) trade show, Nov. 8-10 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Arizona.
The PPG exhibit at booths 1747-1749 will introduce attendees to the ALLTECH ENGINEREED FINISHES™ brand, based at a PPG-owned facility in Taiwan that offers a full complement of pretreatment and electrocoating finishing services for fasteners and related products. PPG representatives from China will help staff the booth.
Among PPG products on display will be ELECTROPOLYSEAL® bulk coatings, the Spincoat family of zinc-rich finishes, and RUSTAREST™ 53253 oil pretreatments.
Electropolyseal coatings enable bulk processing of small parts and fasteners for electrocoat lines using barrel and basket application methods. They also can be used with zinc-rich liquid coatings for dip-spin, dip-drain and spray lines. By combining bulk application processes with high-quality finishes, Electropolyseal coatings enable manufacturers to manage costs and increase product performance.
Electropolyseal, Spincoat AR and Spincoat ZR finishes are chrome-free, lead-free and Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS)-compliant. In addition to being highly corrosion-resistant, all three coatings feature torque-modified finishes for easy and consistent application via electrocoat and dip-spin processes.
PPG helps global parts manufacturers implement and manage a full range of fastener-coating processes throughout North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
STAFDA is a nonprofit educational trade association comprised of distributors, manufacturers and representative agents of light construction, industrial and related products. The association has 2,500 members in the U.S., Canada and overseas.
