The Supervisory Board of MAN Diesel & Turbo SE has elected Andreas Renschler as Chairman of the Supervisory Board until 2022. Renschler is Chief Executive Officer of Volkswagen Truck & Bus and the Volkswagen AG Board of Management member responsible for commercial vehicle activities as well as the Supervisory Board Chairman of MAN SE. He succeeds Dr. Georg Pachta-Reyhofen, former Chief Executive Officer of MAN SE.
Commenting on this, Renschler said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Pachta-Reyhofen most sincerely for his many years of dedicated service. I look forward to my new role at MAN Diesel & Turbo. I value the expertise of our colleagues in power engineering and maritime propulsion technology. The diesel engine remains a key technology in global trade and transportation logistics. It links the company to our commercial vehicle brands. There is also close collaboration involved in the research and development of future technologies.”
In addition to Mr. Renschler, three more new shareholder representatives have been elected to the Supervisory Board until 2022: Dr. Karl-Heinz Blessing, Chief Human Resources Officer of Volkswagen AG, Joachim Drees, Chief Executive Officer of MAN SE and of MAN Truck & Bus AG, and B. Jutta Schneider, Executive Vice President at SAP. Michael Leppek, 1st Authorized Representative and Treasurer of IG Metall, Augsburg, remains Deputy Supervisory Board Chairman.
Michael Behrendt, Dr. Jörg Boche, Gunnar Kilian, Dr. Hermann J. Klein, and Jan-Henrik Lafrentz all remain shareholder representatives on the Supervisory Board of MAN Diesel & Turbo SE.
