VfB Stuttgart has turned 125 this year – and the Mercedes-Benz Museum is celebrating the occasion with special openings on two Friday games: at VfB’s home games on 21 September and 2 November 2018, the Mercedes-Benz Museum will be open until 8 pm. Last admission on both days is at 7.30 pm. This makes it possible for the atmosphere in the stadium to be ideally combined with a visit to the special exhibition “On the move since 1893” to mark VfB’s anniversary at the Mercedes-Benz Museum. During the special openings, visitors will have a chance to win season tickets to the special exhibition along with other prizes. Evening ticket prices will apply: from 4.30 pm, adults pay 5 euros admission, while the ticket price for people aged 15 or younger is 2.50 euros.
Stuttgart. First immerse yourself in the moving history of the club at the Museum, then experience football live in the stadium: this combination is made possible by the Mercedes-Benz Museum for two home games of VfB Stuttgart. Before the matches against Fortuna Düsseldorf (21 September 2018, 8.30 pm) and Eintracht Frankfurt (2 November 2018, 8.30 pm) in the adjacent Mercedes-Benz Arena, the Museum will remain open until 8 pm, i.e. two hours longer on each day. Last admission on each day will be at 7.30 pm instead of the usual 5 pm.
Football fans will be particularly interested in the special exhibition “On the move since 1893”, which opened on 9 September 2018 to celebrate the 125-year history of VfB Stuttgart. The exhibition runs until 2 April 2019 in the Collection 5 room at the Museum, where a grandstand with real stadium seats from the Mercedes-Benz Arena makes for a true football atmosphere. A total of over 125 exhibits from the club’s history as well as, among others, five Mercedes-Benz automobiles from the championship-winning years of VfB Stuttgart are on show at the special exhibition.
Of particular interest to all VfB Stuttgart fans: at both special openings, visitors will have a chance to win season tickets to the special exhibition along with other attractive prizes on a wheel of fortune in the foyer. The tickets allow admission to the Mercedes-Benz Museum until 2 April 2019.
