STANLEY ELECTRIC CO., LTD. developed the ADB (Adaptive Driving Beam) headlamp that improves night-time driving safety and security.
More people are killed when crossing the road at night-time than in the daytime. ADB enables the driver to detect the pedestrians and signs earlier without dazzling other drivers in a car ahead or an oncoming car. Therefore, this system provides safe visibility at night to drivers. We expect the traffic accidents at night would be decreased by ADB headlamp.
Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB)
This headlamp system doesn’t dazzle other drivers of an oncoming or preceding vehicles by changing the light pattern of high beam according to the location information of oncoming or preceding vehicles detected by a car camera.

The LED on-off control is based on human engineering in order not to cause a sense of discomfort
