Subaru Corporation announces the following organizational changes which took effect on December 1, 2018.
Establishment of Vehicle Inspection Department under Quality Assurance Division
The Vehicle Inspection Department has been newly established under the Quality Assurance Division of Subaru Automotive Business. This department conducts vehicle inspection work* which was previously conducted by the Manufacturing Quality Control Department of the Gunma Manufacturing Division.
The purpose of this change is to ensure quality of manufactured vehicles pursuant to the company’s quality-first principle, by making the operation of vehicle inspections independent from the manufacturing organization and belong to the quality assurance organization.
