Super fans of Chery get together in Chery Brazil factory for its 1st anniversary

Brazil has always been one of Chery’s most important overseas markets. In August 2014, Chery’s vehicle plant in Jacarei, Brazil went into production, raised the curtain of Chery’s localization in Brazil and provided strong support for enhancing Chery’s comprehensive competitiveness in Brazil. On August 3, Chery Brazil organized fan club event for the first time–Super fans of Chery get together in Brazil factory for celebrating the 1st anniversary. 10 lucky buyers and their families were selected from numerous Brazilian Chery users to visit the factory, the aim of this trip is for the buyers to understand more about Chery’s production process and perceive the sincerity and confidence from Chery’s people.

In this event, Luis Curi, the vice general manager of Chery Brazil and other executives introduced to the buyers about Chery’s high requirements and standards for car building, and showed them around the welding and assembly plants. The buyers were deeply impressed by the shops’ favorable production environment and orderly production lines. After visiting the factory, Chery also organized test drive for new models, such as New Celer, Tiggo 5 etc. Notably, New Celer which is manufactured by Brazilian factory, impressed by the whole fresh feeling Chery has brought to the local consumers. And Tiggo 5 model has not been in the Brazil market yet, which made these buyers be the first experiencers in Brazil. The fashionable appearance, powerful driving force, high cross-country power and good controllability of it have aroused their great interest, they said they are looking forward to the new model launching. When the customers are sharing the test-driving experience between each other, one of them who is described as the “super salesman” for he recommended Chery models to his friends several times, requested actively to stand in front of the camera to express his views of Chery models, he said:”Because of the reliable quality and good performance, I have already recommended Chery models to 8 friends and relatives. The event today has made him have more faith in Chery and he will continue supporting Chery in the future.” It is because of these super fans’ huge supporting, Chery Brazil is inspired to move further and further.

It is reported that Chery has been advancing the process of “localization” in Brazil. In order to adapt to Brazil’s road conditions, fuels and Brazilian consumers’ driving habits, Chery has made great efforts on adaptive development and improvement in Brazil. Particularly, the special flex-fuel engine was acclaimed by the local consumers.

Peng Jian, general manager of Chery Brazil said, Chery Brazil will continue advancing the localization strategy so as to accomplish the localization of R&D, procurement, manufacturing and staff management, integrating its advanced technology, brand and corporate culture with the local market.
