Brunner Ferienreisen AG has taken receipt of its first Setra TopClass 500 touring coach. The unveiling ceremony for the S 516 HDH was applauded by over 50 Brunner customers at the Setra customer centre in Neu-Ulm. For manager Peter Brunner, who runs the family company in its second generation together with his brother, Kurt Brunner, the applause was a gratifying acknowledgement: “Our customers’ delighted reaction shows that we have made the right choice with the S 516 HDH. With the Setra TopClass 500 we aim to set ourselves apart from the competition.”

For Peter Brunner, comfort and safety are the measure of all things: “Apart from the extremely elegant interior appointments, we also have the most cutting-edge and reliable safety systems on board that are currently available in the European bus sector.” These include adaptive cruise control with the emergency assistant Active Brake Assist 2 (ABA 2), which even responds in the case of a stationary obstacle and minimises the risk of accidents. “With Setra, our customers can set off on their holidays without a worry, ” notes Peter Brunner.
The large Setra TopSky Panorama glass roof guarantees a very special travel experience for passengers as they sit comfortably in their “Setra Voyage Supreme” seats.
Brunner Ferienreisen AG – first trip takes the S 516 HDH to Iceland
The Swiss bus company from Sargans in the canton of St. Gallen was established by Marlis and Peter Brunner in 1971. It was reorganised as Brunner Ferienreisen AG in 1988. Today, passengers can choose from a broad selection of day trips and holiday tours. The S 516 HDH’s maiden voyage took passengers to Iceland.
