On October 7, Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd. held a ceremony at American production subsidiary TG Missouri Corporation to celebrate 30 years of business in the Americas. The ceremony was attended by about 100 guests including local government officials and customers.
The Toyoda Gosei Group established TG (U.S.A.) Corporation (currently TG Missouri) in April 1986, and has since expanded its business in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil. Currently there are 21 Group companies in the Americas, with Toyoda Gosei North America Corporation serving as regional headquarters.
In his opening remarks, Toyoda Gosei President Naoki Miyazaki said the company has “grown while improving our manufacturing capabilities in the Americas, contributing to each of the communities where we are located, and striving to be a trusted company. Building on the foundation of our history together so far, I look forward to achieving sustainable growth as the automobile industry goes through a period of huge transformation.”
