Transport-technology research innovation for international development (T-TRIID) competition closes 16 August 2018

The T-TRIID competition provides funding up to £30,000 for 10 collaborative projects which show potential to address transport challenges in countries in Africa and South Asia.

The T-TRIID competition provides funding up to £30,000 for 10 collaborative projects which show potential to address transport challenges in countries in Africa and South Asia.

T-TRIID is funded by the UK Government’s Department for International Development and supported by IMC Worldwide and the Knowledge Transfer Network. It is a competition within the High Volume Transport applied research programme funded by DFID.

Successful applicants will need to demonstrate that their project delivers technical, operational or policy-based solutions in the following themes: long distance strategic road and rail, urban transport, low carbon transport and gender, accessibility and inclusion (particularly the disabled) in high volume transport.

The competition is open to all types of companies anywhere in the world, although projects must support one of the beneficiary countries listed here.
