Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is giving 30 lucky fans the chance to win a limited edition Volkswagen California print to mark the iconic model’s 30th birthday. As part of the anniversary celebrations, the manufacturer has teamed up with The Caravan and Motorhome Club for the unique giveaway which features a specially commissioned piece of art.
The prize is an A2 poster print version of the ‘Thirty Years of Adventure’ Volkswagen California mural produced by artist Jo Hicks. The print features the original T3 Volkswagen California and current T6 California 30 Years edition surrounded by some of the classic symbols of the great British holiday.
The 30 prints will be sent to prize winners during a social media giveaway on The Caravan and Motorhome Club’s social pages.
The destinations on the print are inspired by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ travel guide that details the 30 best places to visit in the UK. The ultimate list of locations includes popular hotspots like Durdle Door in Dorset and Lake Windermere in the Lake District as well as hidden gems like Tintagel in Cornwall and Pateley Bridge in North Yorkshire. The legendary Volkswagen California was first released in 1988 and since then has been the symbol of individual freedom, unforgettable holidays and pure adventure. Alongside the special travel guide, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has also produced a limited run of 999 unique California 30 Years models with just 30 destined for the UK.
