Rob Holdcroft has been appointed to the role of National Sales Manager for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, replacing Iain Montgomery who has left the brand.
Holdcroft moves to the pivotal sales role from his previous position as Sales Operations Manager within Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles which he has held since June 2016. Since 2006 he worked within the Volkswagen Group within the TPS (Trade Parts Specialist) brand.
In his new role he will continue to report to Head of Sales Operations, James Douglas, and will be responsible for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ team of 5 UK Area Sales Managers, Alan Slimon, Emile Moore, Kelly Brown, Martin Whelpton and Jim Wilberforce. The team are responsible for driving performance, sales and customer satisfaction through the brand’s dedicated network of 72 Van Centres.
Commenting on the appointment, Douglas said: “Having worked with Rob since I joined Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles last year, he has been a great support to me and been responsible for driving innovation and raising standards across the network. I am pleased to see him step up and adopt new responsibilities in this crucial network-facing role.”
