“You are wanted”, the first original Amazon series to come completely from Germany, is celebrating its premiere today. From 17 March 2017 the thriller series will be available to Amazon customers in more than 200 countries at the same time. This is the biggest launch a German production series has ever experienced. Mercedes-Benz is represented with several vehicles from the very first episode. For example, Matthias Schweighöfer in his role as the young hotel manager and family father Lukas Franke drives a C‑Class Estate. A G‑Class and an E‑C lass can be seen in subsidiary roles. These are used by the state criminal investigators and the mobile police squad to pursue the protagonists.
“You are wanted” was not only directed by Matthias Schweighöfer besides Bernhard Jasper and produced together with Warner Bros., he also plays the lead role. Other members of the cast include Alexandra Maria Lara, Karoline Herfurth, Tom Beck and Kathrin Bauerfeind. Mercedes-Benz is supporting the premiere celebration in Berlin with an exclusive shuttle service for VIP guests.
