Western Star Trucks announced today that it has awarded its top dealer sales professionals “STAR” status through its annual STAR Performer Sales Achievement program.
The STAR Performer Program recognizes and rewards outstanding results of sales professionals from dealerships in the United States and Canada. Recipients are selected based on total truck sales through a district competition. This achievement also takes into consideration other criteria, including training and certification.
“Western Star is pleased to offer this program each year to honor and reward our top dealer sales professionals,” said Kelley Platt, President, Western Star Trucks. “It’s an exciting competition where we can recognize superior salesmanship.”
Each achiever will receive a custom plaque, and the top 25 sales professionals will be honored at a special awards ceremony later this year.
Platt continued, “These winners not only sell a lot of trucks each year, they also work very hard to keep up to date on Western Star product information and the truck industry trends through online training, weekly webinars and certification programs. Their success is a testament to their hard work and determination.”
