BYD has broken ground on its first passenger car factory in Cambodia, marking another significant step in its ongoing expansion into Southeast Asia. The facility will assemble both battery-electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, with the goal of meeting rising local demand as well as supporting global exports.
