BYD has entered the Benin passenger car market, marking its expansion into a 16th African country. The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) giant launched its Yuan Plus e-SUV and Seagull compact hatchback at a brand launch event in Cotonou, coordinated in partnership with local distributor CFAO Group.
