On 11 March 2025 Volvo Trucks launched an all-new VNR regional haul truck for the North America region. While it features an internal combustion engine, the truck maker promises a “90% redesign” against the previous generation VNR, including new fuel-efficient technologies that can lower fuel costs—and therefore emissions—by up to 7.5%.
