Eve Energy goes global with Malaysia plant opening

Chinese battery maker Eve Energy plans to follow compatriot manufacturers CATL and BYD by globalising its manufacturing operations. By Stewart Burnett

Chinese battery manufacturer Eve Energy began production at its new Malaysian plant on 16 February, marking the beginning of its overseas operations. The Karangan plant has the capacity to produce 680 million batteries per year, including those for electric vehicles (EVs).
