Automotive supplier Luminar announced on 5 March 2025 that it will supply the LiDAR system for the upcoming Volvo ES90, slated to enter production in 2025. This marks the second time Luminar will supply LiDAR to the majority Geely-owned Swedish automaker, following a first successful implementation in the self-driving tech stack of the EX90 e-SUV.
