MAN reports back on Polar Express test drive of eTGX e-truck

The MAN eTGX consumed 4,500 KW/h over 3,400 km, of which 670 kWh was recovered through regenerative braking and downhill travel. By Stewart Burnett 

Traton-owned truckmaker MAN has announced the completion of a MAN eTGX test drive spanning the Arctic Circle to Munich. The journey, which kicked off in Lapland encompassed 3,400 km, sought to investigate the e-truck’s power consumption in various geographies and relied exclusively on public charging infrastructure.
