Pony.ai warns US trade war will its hamper expansion plans

China-based robotaxi developer Pony.ai expressed concerns on 23 April 2025 that the ongoing trade war between the US and China could negatively impact its international expansion strategy. Despite this, the autonomous driving firm company, which is backed by Toyota, anticipates minimal direct disruption to its supply chain.
