Reuters: Nissan planning cuts to Rogue production in Japan

While Nissan is weighing production cuts to accommodate anticipated changes in demand, Trump is signalling a pause on tariffs. By Stewart Burnett

Nissan plans to cut production of its top-selling US model, the Rogue SUV, between May and June 2025, according to a 15 April 2025 report by Reuters. The plans would affect production in Kyushu, Japan, and would therefore be affected by the US’ recently-implemented 25% tariffs on automotive imports.
