Scania and DHL to begin testing extended-range e-truck

Scania and DHL are calling for EU emissions regulations to be more inclusive of hybrid e-trucks. By Stewart Burnett

In collaboration with the DHL Group, Scania has developed a hybrid e-truck with a fuel-powered generator, which it will now begin testing. The truck maker claims the still-in-development truck can run 80-90% on renewable energy, and as such is pushing for European regulations to adjust its regulations in accordance.
