South Korean battery manufacturer SK On announced on 19 march 2025 that it has secured a deal to supply nearly 100 GW/h worth of electric vehicle (EV) batteries to Nissan. Under the agreement, SK On will supply “high-performance, high-nickel” US-manufactured batteries to supply Nissan’s North American operations between the years 2028 and 2033.
