Chinese battery giant CATL announced on 21 February 2025 that it has signed a strategic cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Volkswagen to deepen their ongoing collaboration on battery research and development. Going forward, the two companies will work together on advanced battery and battery-adjacent concepts and products.
