Volvo expands 2025 lineup with EX30 Cross Country

After promising an extensive new model release schedule for 2025, Volvo has resurrected its Cross Country brand for the EV era. By Stewart Burnett

Volvo has announced a 4x4 off-road version of its all-electric EX30 for launch in 2025. The first of the automaker’s electric vehicles (EVs) to use the Cross Country badge, it will not be based on a Volvo platform but will use the same drive technology as Geely’s Smart #1 and Zeekr X.
