British self-driving technology startup Wayve has officially launched its new testing and development center in Yokohama, Japan, marking its first expansion into an Asian market. The center will focus on accelerating the development of AI-powered driving software in collaboration with automakers, with testing planned in Tokyo and surrounding regions.
