A new Automotive World report, ‘Daimler Trucks production outlook to 2021‘ is available to download from the research section of AutomotiveWorld.com.

Daimler’s three core truck brands, Freightliner, Fuso and Mercedes-Benz, accounted for over 90% of the OEM’s truck output in 2016, the remainder being sold under the BharatBenz, Thomas Built and Western Star brands.

Daimler Trucks has a target of 700,000 sales annually by 2020. This exclusive Automotive World report examines that target, with commentary and a production outlook to 2021.

The report’s author, Jonathan Storey, commented, “Daimler has two key targets for its truck division: an 8% average operating margin and (by 2020) sales of 700,000upa. We think one of these targets is a stretch, but achievable, while the other is unachievable. Read on to see which is which.”
